La richiesta della committenza era di avere un’ambientazione verde semplice e a bassa manutenzione, che proteggesse la terrazza dal vento e fosse visibile anche dall’esterno. Il progetto doveva intervenire sulle terrazze, prendendo in considerazione le visuali sia interne che esterne. Si sono quindi studiate delle fioriere modulari che richiamassero nei colori e nelle forme le doppie colonne della struttura e che sono state posizionate lungo il perimetro della terrazza ad intervalli regolari. Sugli angoli dell’edificio, in corrispondenza dei punti d’ingresso delle correnti d’aria sono stati montati dei grigliati a maglia quadrata su cui si sviluppano dei Rhyncospermum jasminoides. Nelle fioriere ancorate ai parapetti perimetrali sono stati piantumati arbusti ricadenti e graminacee rustiche e resistenti a vento, creando così due line verdi che ben contrastano con il cemento dell’edificio e le strutture in ferro degli arredi.
| The request of the client was to have a simple and low-maintenance green setting, that would protect the terrace from the wind and was visible from the outside. The project had to work on the terraces, taking into account the views both internal and external. Modular planters, with colors and shapes inspired by the twin pillars of the structure, were placed around the perimeter of the terrace at regular intervals. On the corners of the building, at the points of entry of the air currents, were mounted square mesh grates with climbing plants: Rhyncospermum jasminoides. In boxes anchored to the parapets were planted falling shrubs and grasses, hardy and resistant to wind, thus creating two green line that contrast clearly with the dark iron structures and the concrete of the building.
